ELECTION TIME IS HERE!
It’s that time again & the Spring Elections are BACK! On April 2nd & 3rd we need YOU to vote for your 2013-2014 Student Government Leadership! During our Spring Elections we elect 30 of our 40 Student Senators as well as your new Student Body President & Vice President. Anyone can vote in the elections, but you only get ONE vote. 1 ELECTION DATES
1.1 For the Spring 2013 General Election, the EDC is planning to adhere to the following timeline.
1.1.1 Candidacy packets available: Monday, February 18 2013 at 12 Noon in the Office of Student Involvement (located in The HUB, Suite 2300, middle floor)
1.1.2 Completed Candidacy Packets due: Friday, March 1 2013 at 12 Noon in the Office of Student Involvement (located in The HUB, Suite 2300, middle floor)
1.1.3 Candidacy Notifications emailed: Wednesday, March 6 2013
1.1.4 MANDATORY Candidate Meeting Thursday, March 7 2013 at 6pm in the Edwin Meese Conference Room (D023) in Mason Hall
1.1.5 Campaign Period begins: Monday, March 18 2013 at 12:01am
1.1.6 Executive Debate Thursday, March 28 2013 at 7pm in the JC Atrium
1.1.7 Voting Period begins: Tuesday, April 2 2013 at 12:00am on getconnected.gmu.edu
1.1.8 Voting Period ends: Thursday, April 4 2013 at 12:00am on getconnected.gmu.edu
Public Announcement and Certification of Results: Thursday, April 4 2013 at 12 Noon in the JC Atrium
