Here’s What’s Happening in SG!

The snow is finally starting to melt just in time for President’s Day! Don’t forget to appreciate our past leaders of America on Monday, February 17th.  In honor of our former president’s, Student Government Spring Election packets are now available in the Office of Student Involvement!(The HUB, Suite 2300, Middle Level). Tuesday, Feburary 18th, learn how to wine and dine while networking at the same time at the Etiquette Dinner hosted by Alumni Relations. The Etiquette Dinner will take place at George’s in the Johnson Center from 5:30pm to 8:30pm. Thursday, February 20th, Student Senate will meet at its usual time and location, 4:30pm in Mason Hall. And RSOs, don’t forget that Friday, February 21st is another Student Funding Board deadline.

Next week, SG has some other big things happening! On Tuesday, February 25th, the Financial Affairs Department of the Student Government will be holding its 2nd Annual Finance Expo! Come get your questions answered about financial topics including Student Financial Aid, Banking, Insurance, the Affordable Care Act, and much more! The event will take place in the JC Dewberry Lobby from 11:00am-3:00pm. So mark your calendars to attend the Finance Expo!

For anyone who picks up a packet, remember to drop your Student Government Spring Election packets off by Friday, February 28th, at NOON in the Office of Student Involvement! Make sure to hand them in on time for the opportunity to be apart of such an impactful and essential part of George Mason, our very own Student Government!
