Mason Lobbies 2016!

On Thursday, January 28th, we will be heading to Richmond with fellow students, faculty, staff, and alumni to speak to state legislators on behalf of the student body. Our legislative priorities include an increase in student financial aid funding, support funding for Robinson Hall renovations, an increase in opportunities for graduate student research assistantships, and supporting legislation that provides college campuses with the direction and resources necessary to combat campus sexual violence. National Student Debt Day

Can’t join us for Mason Lobbies? You can still have your voice heard on National Student Debt Day in DC! On January 28th from 9 am to 4 pm, students from around the country will gather at UDC to learn more about the student debt crisis and be provided with the tools they need to impact change. White Out Game against George Washington University

On Sunday, January 31st, Men’s Basketball will be playing George Washington University in the White Out Game. Head to EagleBank Arena at 12 pm to cheer them on to victory! George Mason Athletics will be giving out free Doc Nix gnomes (while supplies last) and having a hot chocolate bar. We hope to see you there!

Recent Legislation: Indigenous Peoples’ Day Resolution

On January 21st, the Student Senate passed a resolution to urge the university to reconstitute Columbus Day as Indigenous People’s Day. To view the resolution, check out our legislation log
