Dedication to the community has been a central theme in my life. As a Bengali interpreter, leader in various student organizations, and the current Chief of the Elections Disputes Committee, I have consistently worked to make a positive impact on the world around me. Whether bridging linguistic gaps, fostering student engagement, or ensuring the integrity of our democratic processes, my passion for community service has guided me towards leadership and advocacy. I’ve come to realize that the more I give to my community, the more I gain in return, and I’m excited to share this journey with the Mason community.

Hello! My name is Blaise and I am honored to be a part of the Student Government at Mason, specifically as a commissioner on the Elections and Disputes Committee. I have spent the better part of 8 years as a referee and have become very passionate about using specified guidelines and rules to ensure a fair playing field for all teams in play. This is why I want to be a lawyer. And this is ultimately why I wanted to become a part of the EDC here on campus: to oversee the election process and ensure that all candidates run in a fair way so all have an equal chance at being elected to the position they feel passionate about.
